| The
Future of the Lothbury Centre |
| Dear Friends of the Lothbury Centre,
|
April 2008
|
| As you know Michael and Helen will
be retiring in September from the running of the Lothbury
Centre. Their vision, hard work and inimitable style have
made the Centre the welcoming and unique place that it is.
|
| Michael and Helen were very reluctant
for the creativity and sense of community evident at the Centre
to come to an end and have been in talks with us at
Inspire to see if the work of the Lothbury could continue. |
| Inspire (www.inspire.org.uk)
is an arts charity established in 1985 that believes in well-being
through the arts. We have a great deal of experience in running
arts and educational courses and workshops and we are delighted
to inform you that from September Inspire will take over the
running of the Lothbury Centre. |
| We intend to run all the popular
courses that are currently offered and to gradually expand
the programme. In this way we aim to build on the foundations
so successfully laid by Michael and Helen. Your help is needed
to do this and we hope that you continue to support the Centre.
We would love to hear from you with any suggestions of classes
and workshops that you would like to see. Any offers of help
and support also gratefully received! |
| Yours sincerely, |
Jan
